Account Balances
To display a summary of all your
accounts registered with Rural Bank - Internet
Banking
and their balances, choose the Accounts
category from the top navigation menu and click the Account
Balances item from the
side navigation menu.
The following information will
be displayed for each account listed:
Messages
From time to time you may notice
messages appearing at the top of the Account Balances screen
just under the title line.
Messages displayed on the Account Balances screen include:
You have 2
new Secure Emails
You have 2
transactions Pending Authorisation
You have 2

These messages contain a hyperlink directly to the function
that relates to the message. By clicking on the blue underlined
portion of the message (the hyperlink) you will be transferred
directly to the appropriate function to take action. Once
you have completed the required action (e.g. read new Secure
Email) the message will be removed from the Account Balances
screen.
Customer Name
The full title of each Customer
record you have registered with Internet Banking.
BSB - Account Number
The BSB number and account number of each account is displayed in this column. These are the numbers you should use to direct funds to or from your account using external systems such as Direct Debits, Direct Credits or other bank’s Pay Anyone services.
Current Balance
The current balance of each account
is listed and coloured red if your balance is overdrawn
or over your credit limit.
- All account balances are current
as of the last time the bank posted transactions to your
account. You may have transactions that have not yet appeared
in the balance (e.g. cheques that have not yet been presented).
Available Balance
The current balance less any
amounts on hold (e.g. credit card purchases or cheque deposits).
In the case where your account
has an approved overdraft or credit limit the Available
Balance equals the credit limit less the current debit balance,
less any amounts on hold.
Customer Number
Shows a Rural Bank generated
customer number for each account listed.
Customers will now be able to see a maximum of 99 accounts under each customer number, with a maximum overall of 99 accounts. When a customer number is first linked all accessible accounts will be displayed. To reduce the number of accounts visible under each customer number you can select the "Account - Display Options" and then "Select Accounts". Any accounts that you want to exclude from your display list can be deselected. Any additional accounts that you want to see can then be selected up to a maximum of 99 accounts in your display list.
