Token
Activate Token
Once you have received your Security Token, you will be instructed to go to the Security Options Tab under Customer Services in Internet Banking or follow the hyperlink from the Account Balances screen. From there you will be able to access the Activate Token tab.
The Activate Token tab enables you to link your Security Token not only to your Logon but also to any other services in e-banking for which you are currently registered, such as Pay Anyone or BPAY®.
For your convenience the Pay Anyone and BPAY® services both have Token Use options that can be changed as often as you like. These options are:
Every Payment - you will be required to enter your Authentication Key every time you make a payment.
Every New Payee - you will be required to enter your Authentication Key every time you establish a New Payee, but not when you make a payment.
Every Payment and New Payee - you will be required to enter your Authentication Key every time you establish a New Payee or make a payment.
To Activate your Security Token for one or all of these services select the box to the left of the option.
Authentication Key
After selecting the corresponding box or boxes and choosing an appropriate Token Use option, please use your Security Token to generate a “One Time” Authentication Key. Once your Security Token displays your Authentication Key, please type it into the Authentication Key field and then press the Activate button.
Note:
You must choose at least one service to activate the Security Token. Once the token has been activated for any service it must be used every time that option is selected. For example, if you activate the token for Pay Anyone Payees you will need to use your token whenever you add a new Pay Anyone payee or whenever you maintain an existing Pay Anyone payee.
Action Buttons
There are two action buttons available:
Activate
Pressing the Activate button will activate your token so that next time you use the corresponding service/s you will be required to enter your Authentication Key. You will be returned to the Activate Token tab with an acknowledgment at the top of the page. Services that have been activated will have ‘Activated’ listed next to them in the Status field and the selection box is no longer accessible. However, you will still be able to choose an appropriate Token Use option from the Pay Anyone and BPAY® drop down lists.
Clear
Pressing the Clear button will clear the input fields on the screen.
