To send a Secure Email message choose the Secure Email category from the top navigation menu (if not already selected) and click the Send Secure Email item in the side navigation menu.

The Send Secure Email screen will then be displayed along with the following information:

This field always contains the Bank's internal department names. If you want to send an Email to a recipient other than Rural Bank, you will need to use your Email program supplied by your Internet provider.

Category (Optional)

You may select an appropriate category from the list provided to direct your query to a more specific area.

Subject

Enter a short description of your Secure Email message here.

Type your message in the area provided directly below the Subject box.

You can press the Return or Enter key to force line breaks. Line breaks can be used to format your text, start new paragraphs, or simply to help the text to fit neatly into the box.

Secure email allows up to 2560 characters.

Don’t overdo it, though. If you take too long to type in the information, you could be timed out and lose the information. You will have to start again. Better to use a standard text editor (eg. Word) and then cut and paste the text into the Secure email.

Action Buttons

There are two action buttons available:

Send

Pressing the Send button will immediately send the message to Rural Bank.

Note:
Secure emails will be processed during Customer Service Centre Hours of Operation as listed on the Secure Email and Customer Services screens.

Clear

Pressing the Clear button will clear the input fields on the screen.
